I've been thinking about getting a tattoo of the phrase "know yourself" meaning to know ones self,
i very much like the russian writing but would like to make sure i have the correct translation
i've checked a few dictionary websites and found the following translations of each word:
know - знать or ИМЕТЬ or УМЕТЬ
yourself - СОБОЙ or СЕБЯ or СЕБЕ or САМ or САМИ
but which words can go together to make sense in russian
please give examples of any possible combinations so i have a few options
one website gave this as a translation for the whole phrase "know yourself" - Без перевода
which i really like however am doubting it is a correct translation
