I'm heading to Moscow and would like to send a fax to the hotel (have a confirmed reservation) asking:

***snip***
Does the hotel have a taxi service - or recommend a taxi service - for airport transfer to the hotel from SVO? I arrive on X date at Y time. Thank you for any information.
***end snip***

Can anyone render that into polite Russian so I can send a fax to the hotel? Google translate does an awful job. At least I know that much Russian. <g>

BTW, any advice on this part of the journey from you would be welcome. It looks harder than getting the flight over!

Здравствуйте.
Можете ли вы предоставить такси, которое отвезет меня из аэропорта в отель? Я прибываю Х (by numbers), в Y (by numbers at 24 hour scale). Спасибо за информацию.

Same text with english letters:

Zdravstvuyte.
Mojete li vi predostavit taksi, kotoror otvezet menya iz aeroporta v otel? Ya pibivayu X (by numbers), v Y(by numbers at 24 hour scale). Spasibo za informaciyu.

------

i didn't translate SVO, since i don't know what is it.

Thanks, Vitaly.

I've learned a couple of things about ordering taxis and faxing since visiting Russia and seeing the results of my laborious work after receipt on their machine...

1. If you fax Cyrillic alphabet via computer, it prints out as garbage. Reason is that each Cyrillic character takes 2, not 1, bytes to render.

2. Don't fax a hotel to order a cab in Moscow. Not a good strategy for best price and makes you look like an innocent in subsequent dealings.

And, btw, SVO is one of the main airports serving Moscow.
