Hello all...

I am a speech therapist working with an elderly woman who speaks no English.

I would like to tell her the following things so that she can understand what I am doing to help her, why I am doing it, etc.

Here are the things I need translated.  Cyrillic is OK; I might make it into flashcards so I don't sound terrible trying to speak it.

My name is Jeff.  I am a speech therapist.  Your doctor asked me to help make sure you are eating and drinking things that are safe.  The doctor wants to make sure you are not choking when you eat or drink and that you do not have food getting into your lungs.

These phrases/cards will be used during the meal:
Please open your mouth.  I want to make sure there is no food or liquid left that you might choke on.
May I give you a small bite?
May I give you a small drink?
Thank you for letting me help you.

Thanks in advance!

My name is Jeff.

I am a speech therapist.

Your doctor asked me to help make sure you are eating and drinking things that are safe.

The doctor wants to make sure you are not choking when you eat or drink and that you do not have food getting into your lungs.

Please open your mouth.

I want to make sure there is no food or liquid left that you might choke on.

May I give you a small bite?

May I give you a small drink?

Thank you for letting me help you.
